The HP46 is a great hand-propelled, petrol-driven mower. The new STIGA ST120 Auto-choke engine and the 46cm cutting width combine to produce a hard-working, dependable and easy to use mower.
The mower is robust with a dark grey steel chassis that certainly looks the part! It has a centralised lever to adjust the cutting height of the blade – and there are six different positions to choose from depending on the length of grass you are cutting – with clippings collected into a capacious 60-litre canvas grass bag.
To save time and to add nutrients to your lawn, simply fit the mulching plug (supplied with the mower) and clippings are finely cut and redistributed back onto the lawn surface as you mow. This a super mower for the small to medium-sized garden and weighing in at 25kg and possessing fold-down handles, it is easy to store. It is also backed by a two-year warranty.
